WORKING TOGETHER IN THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY

2009 WINNERS ANNOUNCED!

Teambuild is a competition aimed at the best young professionals in the construction industry. It is an exhilarating, fast-paced, challenging and exhaustive test of skills, leadership and collaboration.
Could YOU succeed in TeamBuild 2010?

The 2009 competition was supported by John Laing and EPR Architects

The Challenge :

Teams are challenged to compete in a simulation of the design and construction process for the development of a real site. This has been hailed by our Judges, all leading representatives of the industry, as 'the best CPD exercise there is'.

The finals weekend starts with a masterplan proposal and runs right through the construction process, finishing with the construction stage of a major development. You will need to think, discuss, sketch, design, compromise, calculate, and then present your work at all stages.

How it works :
Individuals and teams can enter: we will assist in forming teams if required. Each team requires a variety of skills: the group will need to work together through several architectural, landscape, civil, structural, M&E, financial, construction and project management challenges. If selected for the finals weekend, the team, of up to six members, battles against eight other groups to take the accolade of National Winner of TeamBuild 2009!
