If you’re interested in entering our competition, there are a few requirements you need to fulfil. Take a look below to find out if Teambuild is for you.
What requirements do I need to fulfil?
- Experience: Less than six years’ post-graduate experience in industry
- Professional Status: Any grade of membership of an institution working in the construction industry
- Available for the Competition Weekend in November (usually the third weekend in November)
Is there an entrance fee?
The first stages of the competition are free, with no fees required until you’re invited to Finals Weekend.
Cost per individual team member is £450+VAT. This includes accommodation and all meals for the weekend, and presentation of a certificate confirming four days’ CPD credit.
I’ve competed at Teambuild before. Can I enter again?
Yes. We’d love to see you again! However, no team should have more than two competitors who have competed previously, and they should not have competed more than once before.
If you are a previous winner of Teambuild, we’re sorry to say you’re not eligible to enter the competition again – but you are warmly invited to join the Working Party to help us keep improving the Teambuild event.
Is there anything else I should know?
- If one of your team members is unable to make it to Finals Weekend, it’s your responsibility to find a suitable replacement
- You can seek assistance before the finals, and bring notes and reference material to the competition. However, once Finals Weekend is underway you’re on your own with no outside help allowed
- Each team member must participate in at least one presentation during Finals Weekend
